TTF's and Red Hat 7.1

Hi all,

I've tried all the NHF's and every tutorial that I found on the Net and I just can't seem to get TTF's installed on my Red Hat 7.1 box. I had no problems with version 6.2 and 7.0.

Any helpful tips?

I have written a detailed description there how to install truetype fonts. If one of these steps dosn't work you can describe which one and perhaps we can give you further hints then.

Did you install (the few provided) ttf's when you installed RH7.1 ? I did and the only thing I had to do was the copy the ttf's from winDoze to usr/share/fonts/default/TrueType

Then in that directory to the
ttmkfdir > fonts.scale
mkfontdir

THANK YOU Bernd for that NHF by the way. I got's my ComicSans in Mozilla, yeeha ;)
