I've been following the Modem Tweak NHF and trying different packet sizes while pinging mail.yahoo.com like this:
$ping -s 500 -c 50 mail.yahoo.com|tail -l
Output seemed normal until I started using packet sizes of 1000 or greater. At 1000 and above, I get:
Warning: time of day goes back, taking countermeasures
WTF? I try a size of 999 bytes and don't get it, but I do at 1000 and above.
Strange.
Anybody have any insight?
