email in netzero

I access the net on my linux mandrake machine via a hacked netzero password and login. Only problem is, I can't send e-mail because i keep getting a message saying "You are not logged onto the network." It does this in windows too, if I bypass netzero software.

Any way to log onto this weird network to send mail?
