I just installed Redhat 7.0. Im having problems installing programs. When I run
"./configure" I get an error telling me that "make" "gcc" "cc" can't be found. I've tried to locate this programs using "locate" but I couldn't find them.

I imagine the files have to be on my drive somewhere.. Does anyone know where I can locate them?

Thanks

Yeah. I had that problem too... and so I just reinstalled. When I did install this time, I added a few more packages. I think the one that fixed my problem was the category called Development Tools... Which doesn't make too much sense. Anyways. It works now. Hope this helps..

Yo! Your compiler is probably not installed and they're included within development tools like I33tb0y said.

If you do not want to reinstalle, simply install the packages from your redhat cd (should be cd1) or download them off the net. You can do a search for the rpms at http://www.redhat.com/apps/download or www.rpmfind.net (http://www.rpmfind.net)

Hope this helps and have fun! :)
