hi ppl, i'm on slackware 9..and all of a sudden when i look at my modules.conf..its 0kb in size! wanna know what actually happened to it.. i mean b4 i saw it as 0kb in size, i was pretty damn sure there were stuffs in it..n all of a sudden it just became 0 bytes in size with nothing inside it! is there a way i can replace the file? like u know erm, get it back to its original form(with the modprobe thingy all inside.) any help is appreciated. thank u!

I think you might have this file confused with /etc/rc.d/rc.modules. Any entries in /etc/modules.conf are normally hand edited. It starts life as a 0kb file and will stay that way unless you edit it.
