I am running Mandrake 7.2 on my IBM 704 server (ppro 200x4, 128mb ram, 6 4.5gb scsi). But when I tried to load Redhat 7.1, 7.2, Mandrake 8.0, 8.1 on it, it loads fine and finishes the install, but after reboot my scsi adapters time out so it will not see my HDs or CD-rom. It saw my scsi adapters on install (adaptec adapters) but will not see them after the load is complete.

Any ideas?

You may need to load the scsi modules and parameters at the boot prompt to get Linux started and then add them to /etc/lilo.conf or /boot/grub/menu.lst to have them recognized upon every boot.

A search of your distros support/documentation site or Google may find what you need for your ??? particular scsi adapter.

Hi David. I haven't slept much the past couple of days. My father passed away Sunday night. I'm trying to keep myself busy so I thought LNO might help.
