Sound problem in intel 865 motherboard

HELP!!!

I have installed RED HAT 9.0 The problem is that the sound card is not being detected.
I have on board sound and the board is Intel 865 GLC Motherboard

Please give us all the possible info you can get.

For examble, all the model numbers and stuff like that. post the results of this command too:

#lspci

which should have your soundcard in it, unless I may be wrong.

Also state the manufacturer and model of the soundcard in the motherboard.

We need more info from you to help.
