Is there a good FTP server for Linux that has a GUI front end? I tried to search the forum but the search isn't working for me. A google search reulted with nothing useful. A www.rpmfind.net (http://www.rpmfind.net) search also was useless. A download.com (linux) search resulted in command line FTP servers, i don't want that. I just need to have access to my computer when im at school and be able to save stuff so I don;t have to carry around floppies.

If you're using ProFTPd, you can try GProFTPd (http://mange.dynup.net/linux.html), which is a GNOME frontend to ProFTPd. Couldn't find anything for Wu-FTPd though.

Pure-ftp is really sweel. I use it for file transfers with pals from my desktop at home all the time, you can setup virtual users and all: Pure-FTP (http://www.pureftp.org).
