Does anyone know of a site like mandrakes that offers screenshots of the actual installation process and also gives install help ?

I want to be sure before i remove slack for debian

whats the difference between the normal one and the NOUS version besides the obvious?

Since the nous is bigger i guess it has a lot more language packages which i don't need
but i don't live in the us

Do you mean using non-US software? This is NOT a replacement for the regular debian mirrors nor are the regular mirrors a replacement for it. It just offers other software that the regular mirrors don't. You'd probably want to use it to make sure you have all packages available.
