Heya guys,

Im running RH9 Fedora Core1. Im using the M$ optical trackball(Explorer). How can I make the left and right button to act as Back and Forward? I think im getting too lazy. It would be hella easier by use the back and foward button.

thanks bro!

Per the How-To:

- you have to modify your XF86Config to match what is in the how-to

- you also have to have the given xmodmap command(s) run when you log into X

- you have to install xvkbd

-and you will have to get your Window Manager, or Desktop Environment (KDE/Gnome) to send the given commands to xvkbd to make the baack and forward buttons work

NOTE: I do not know how to make KDE or Gnome map mouse actions to commands as I do not use either of them. You will have to refer to the Gnome/KDE documentation to see if/how you can accomplish it in them. The example I gave was for Openbox3.
