Problem with Gnome and Web brower

I am having an odd problem using the WEb Browser while in Gnome
I am using RH 8
When I open the browser it appears for a very short time then closes itself
When I swap back to KDE it works correctly
I tried creating a new user and it worked correctly for a while then it went back to auto closing itself, only thing I tried was going to the User Add applet which also autocloses
Can anyone give me a hint or point me in the correct direction on how to fix this

1. what browser is it?

2. start it from a terminal and see what error prints out when it crashes.

It is Mozilla
I looked at the properties of the icon and it had the command htmlview %u in it
When I ran htmlview it poped up then closed itself
When I ran htmlview %u it tried to resolve %u as a page and stayed up
when I ran htmlview www.yahoo.com it popped up and closed but this time I got an error code
Gdk-ERROR **: BadWindow(Invalid Window Paramaters)
serial 3863 error_code 3 request code 2 minor_code 0
I can open the browser using the %u, but when I try to go to any webpage it crashes also with the error above but the number after serial constanly changes

Mine has 'mozilla %u'. Try changing yours.

Figured it out
When I tried to run redhat-config-users it gave me the same error but it said which library it was from, lbredmond95
I went ahead and swapped the themes back to the default one and now it works perfect
