netscape6 8 colors?

THanks Blink, I was able to get netsape 6 installed and started.

But sometimes when it starts, the colors are majorly bad (8 colors) and i can't read most of the text on or in the browser.

What is causing this?

Click on Edit-Preferences-Appearance-Fonts. At the bottom on the dialog on the right, select Use document specified fonts, including dynamic fonts. See if that fixes your problem. Some user selected fonts don't work. They leave you with a blank screen. I have my variable width fonts set to Arial MT, size 12.0, and fixed width fonts set to Courier (Adobe), size 12.0. I have no problems such as you describe.
As for the colors, you might check the Netscape site for other themes, you might find something more agreeable.
