newbie wants netscape6

I am a linux newbie.
I want to install nestcape 6.
I have it on CD, install it, run it and it is Netscape 4.7. Very odd.

Can someone point me to step by step instructions on the web (for a complete newbie) on how to install netscape 6?

Try this (worked for me on Debian):

In a terminal, go to /usr/local/netscape and type ./netscape. If that is the directory you installed netscape6 into (the default one I think), that should start 6.0
