if you go to somewhere like freshmeat.net (http://freshmeat.net/) or sourceforge.org (http://sourceforge.org/) and search for ICQ then you should be able to find plenty of clients (like licq, kicq, gicq mentioned above :) )

Here are my favorite messenger clients for Linux:

For the ICQ network: LICQ (http://www.licq.org/)

For the AOL Instant Messenger network: GAIM (http://gaim.sourceforge.net/)

For both networks: EveryBuddy (http://www.everybuddy.com/)

Jabber is another client that supports both protocols, allowing you to sign on to both services with just one program, but last time I tried it (1999...) I didn't really care for it in its current state.
