Hi,
im trying to upate to the latest kernel 2.6.4 and i was going over the list of progs that need to be updated and what have you.
It turned out that i needed to update fsck.jfs to atleast 1.1.3 so i search out the download and went to install it and it errored saying that uuid.h was not found and that i needed to install the uuid library.
So i downloaded uuid library but it refuses to install.
the install instructs to run
./configure /your/path/to/uuid
but i dont know where i could be putting this...
some help please :)
[UPDATE}
I got uuid installed, now its telling me that i need to install openpkg, but the download wont go.
I got the distro specfic download (suse 9.0) but it errors out telling me that the download:
* is intended for x86 achitechture
* is inteded for Suse 9.0 (Which i am using Suse 9.0 Pro)... so whats the deal?
