I am looking for a rock solid file encryption programme preferably with a GUI.

I hope someone can help me.

I haven't done this myself, but some people create encrypted filesystems. It seems like a pretty good solution if you have really high security needs.

Thank you all for your answers. I think I will take a look at “7’s” proposal which seem very interesting. :)
