I've got RH6.2 on my K6-2 box. It's also got a Qlogic SCSI card. I'm trying to recompile the kernel (to 2.2.18 for now) but I'm having trouble with the modules. Unless I compile the Qlogic drivers into the kernel it can't see the SCSI drive I have.
I'm trying to get the modules to load (and hopefully unload) automatically. After searching around for a while I came across kerneld. But RH doesn't come with kerneld. So how does RH work from the custom install? And where do I get the module software to make it work?
