I do I load the kernel without textmode VGA? I still want to keep VGA but when I'm compiling big programs, things go quicker without it.

Maybe I have to edit lilo.conf or something... I tried passing 'vga=normal' to the kernel, but it still loades in vga. Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Ben

Did you rerun /sbin/lilo to write the changes to disk? Sorry, but some forget.

There are other parms you can use in lilo.conf, but I don't know them offhand. Does 'man lilo' list any of them?

I did run /sbin/lilo after editing, but no luck :(. I checked out the lilo and lilo.conf manpages... no help :( :(.

Any other suggestions?
