Redhat install locks up

I am trying to install Redhat 6.2 on a 486 box. If I'm lucky I can get to the install packages screen before lock up. But then it locks up there. Any ideas?

32 meg ram
1.2 gig hard drive

brand new install

Locks up? Just freezes? Hrmm...go to the redhat site and make sure that all the hardware you have is supported by RH. If the entire system just freezes on a fresh install, then either the hardware isn't supported/is faulty, or the installation media is faulty.

OK. RedHat 5.1 installed perfectly. During the 6.2 install the mouse would work the entire time, the rest of the system seemed frozen. Any thoughts?
