There's a specific forum for this now so I'm moving this there.

One of the differences is in software and installation managers. SuSe uses Yast2, Mandrake has its Control Center, and Fedora can use Yum or apt-get. All three of them have graphical installers. Fedora and Mandrake are now mostly community developed while SuSe is owned by Novell. Check distrowatch for differences in packages available for each one.

If you're talking the free($) download edition of each, I would have to say hardware detection, package management(installing/un-installing programs) and eye candy.

If we're talking store-bought, boxed editions, then it would come down to any non-free($) software each one included.

Why not try the free($) version of each and decide for youself which one's best? Personally I have used Mandrake for several years now, but I still check out the other distro's when they come out with a new release, and if I wasn't on 56k dial-up, I probably would try one of the compile-everything distros.

http://www.distrowatch.com is a great place to learn about each distro's features, and get links to download and help sites for each.
