samba + win2k

when I try to join the samba domain I get the following error:
domain "lupus.be"

The credentials supplied conflicts with an existing set of credentials.

joining the workgroup works fine

I do'nt understand his problem

It's trying to authenticate to the domain when adding to the domain not workgroup. therefore the account you are using in linux is that same username as one that is within windows but the passwords are different (remember linux is case sensative) i dunno just a suggestion. I haven't ever used samba :(
