How do i set the default dektop to Fluxbox in Fedora? I'm having to select Fluxbox at the login screen every time and when i do im told to use the desktop switcher to change it but i try running "switchdesk" i get options GNOME, KDE and TWM. Does this mean I've not installed Fluxbox correctly somehow? or is there a different way to set the default? I checked the Fluxbox site and looked around this forum but couldnt find anything.

I found this post which I think contains all that you're after.

Never used FC so cannot really comment on the suitability of the solution.

thx, i followed the link and there was reference to another thread which mentioned modifying /etc/X11/xdm/Xsession, which i tried but nothing happened. Someoen say they tried "KDE Control Center" solved their problem, but i dont know where to find that. Also in the thread you linked it seemed like the poster couldnt get fluxbox installed. I just want to reitterate that i have fluxbox installed and fully funcional i just cant set it as the default, i have to select it at the login screen every time.
