This might not be the place for this but it's a start. I'm a Linux newbie but a professional programmer. Are there driver SDK's or newsgroups or something for Linux? What are some good websites for driver writing?

Thanks,

There is a chapter in Redhat Linux Unleashed (available online at www.informit.com) (http://www.informit.com)) on writing drivers.

There's also an O'reilly book about the subject. Also, you have access to the code source of EVERY Linux driver...
