The package listing for SuSE 9.0 Professional.

http://www.suse.com/us/private/products/suse_linux/i386/packages_professional/index_all.html

I've seen many threads here on Portsentry, so I would imagine quite a few JL members use it. Have a search of the JL forums for portsentry. You might want to have a look through the package list above to see is SuSE includes other packages that do the same as Portsentry.

The type of installation (workstation, development etc.) you select will determine which cd's are requested during the install. Some of those cd's will likely include source package.

If you want to install everything, ensure you select ALL packages during the initial installation. I do a selective package install myself and only install what I require.
