KDE browsing to folders, with a file called index.html

Well, I just installed KDE... I always used GNOME, and I hate the way that if you have a file in a dir called index it displays the folder as a webpage... How can i stop this.?

In file manager, click on view menu and deselect HTML view. You can also try icon, text, long, or short views.

In my KDE2.1, there's an option under the View menu called "Use index.html". If that's checked, try unchecking it.
