Font problem !!

Hello,
I installed some fonts from my windows partition into Linux through kde.Now i cannot start X,the error says "Cannot open default font 'fixed' "
How do i resolve this error ?Can the default font be changed ?

Have you tried any of the suggestions in these previous threads I found with a JL forum search for 'cannot open default font fixed' (http://justlinux.com/forum/search.php?s=&action=showresults&searchid=906079&sortby=lastpost&sortorder=descending)? That was once a very popular problem posted here.

It sounds like you moved or deleted your regular X fonts. What commands did you use to move your Windows fonts?
