I installed phat linux 3.3 and it detected all my hardware except my graphics card(voodoo 4 AGP) and my monitor a Samtron 95Pplus, what should i do?
Do i have to get another distro, would it support my card and monitor, or is there no way round?

I've no experience with PhatLinux, but depending on which version of X it comes with (and I'm betting it's 3.3.x), you'll need to either use:

3.3.x - the 'svga' server
4.0.x - the 'tdfx' module

Both versions of X work very well with the Voodoo 3,4,5 cards, and it's really not all that difficult to setup. Grab your monitor manual and look up the Hz and V sync rates and have 'em ready (or look them up online). Then you should be able to just run (as root) 'xf86config' and get a rudimentary XF86Config file going. From there you can edit the file, tweak it to your personal needs. Some of the latest distros will detect and properly configure your card, but why bother; install what you want and configure to your needs.
Please bear in mind that true hardware 3d support is more difficult to setup on these cards, for that, head over to dri.sourceforge.net (http://dri.sourceforge.net).

Luck!
