Could do with some advice on installing FC1 to Sata Raid drives. In fact....is it actually possible?

Want to dual boot this PC as its used for games so thought I would ask for advice before I even attempt installation, my other three PCs have been a simple install of FC1 onto empty Hard drives.

The PC spec is as follows....

Gigabyte GA 7N400 Pro2 (Nvidia Nforce 2 chipset)
AMD Athlon XP 3200+
2 x Samsung 80gb SATA HDD (stripe set on SIL3112A Sata Raid Controller)
1024mb Dual Channel DDR
Geforce FX5600 VIVO 256mb
Philips 416N DVDRW
MSI 16x DVD rom

The PC currently has a 120gb NTFS partition with windows XP Pro SP1 installed, I can not delete or lose ANY data on this partition but want to use the remaining 40ish gig for a FC1 installation.

Have obtained drivers from Silicon Image (manufacturers of the on board SIL 3112A SATA raid controller) is there anything else I should arm myself with before attempting this installation? Is it actually possible to install FC1 on this pc WITHOUT losing the data already on the drives, the readme with the drivers does seem to indicate that the drives will be wiped during the install!

Thanks in advance for any help.

Regards
John

Just make sure you choose custom partitioning and not automatic partitioning as apparently Redhat (and I would guess Fedora also) will wipe out all partitions if you pick automatic.

Have you read the online installation documentation for Redhat/Fedora?

Also... do the obvious. Backup all your stuff first. Hopefully you won't need it but if you do you'll sure be glad to did. No need to go cowboy on this one.
