power management in drake7.2

How do I disable the "power maagement" stuff. I hate when my comp decides to shut the monitor off of it's own accord. Damn machines.

Open the control centre, thats the little green icon in the tray, there you will see a list of different settings you can alter, select the power one and uncheck any setting you dont want.

I am having the same problem.. but I do not use x windows.. i use just the flat text.. Where is the power feature to fix the monitor from turning off on its own.. The Bios is disabled.. so it has to be software.. Thank you..
