I just downloaded Red Hat Linux 9 for the first time and started to play with it. I am trying to set up a DHCP server on my network, however, I have never done this before. Could someone suggest a good tutorial to look at, or at least give me some direction for establishing this service on my network? I've seen a couple sample dhcp configuration files on this forum, and while I am not a a complete noob when it comes to networking, I would like to know what is required in this config file, as well as if the order is important.
