What application or configuration is used to share an Internet connection from Windows to Linux? Just a link or application will do

you can use windows ics or I prefer http://www.analogx.com go to downloads for networking and get proxy.
nice small proxy server.

Step 1: Set up Windows to share the Internet connection - right-click on the connection icon, find and turn on "Internet Connection Sharing".

Step 2: Configure Linux to obtain an IP address automatically via DHCP - the exact process depends on your distro.

Step 3: Launch Web browser and cross fingers. ;) Seriously, that's usually all there is to it.
