I have a Linksys WPC11 v.4 card. I know this is the card everyone seems to have problems with, v.3 is supported, but not v.4. Well I got the card recognized and set up. The card shows up in ifconfig and has the correct MAC address associated with it. I can't get an IP address though. I am using Linuxant driverloader for a driver for the card. I have noticed the under if config, after running dhclient, that eth1 (the wireless card) has 10 or so TX packet errors. Nothing shows up under dropped packets. I was wondering if anyone has seen anything like this and what I might be able to do to get around it. I know I didn't provide much info cause I'm not sure what you might need t help me out. Just let me know and I'll post it.

Regards,
Chris

I have a Linksys WPC55AG with the Madwifi driver. I have the same problem of not being able to pickup a DHCP address under linux. I get one under Windows fine. I was able to get it to work if I assigned it a static ip address. Are you able to get yours to work if you give it a static ip? I had to assign an ip, AP and also define the routes to get it working. What is the output of iwconfig?
