Anyone that have got Winamp to work properly on Linux? The music just skips when I play mp3's, local as well as streaming. (Have a PII 266(@300) MHz)

Question: Do you not know about XMMS? or are you using WinAMP for some other reason?


try out xmms if you don't know about it.

I have been using XMMS (or x11amp) for a long time now and it works fine. But I down know how to make it play wma-files. I thought maybe winamp could.

ahh I see.

I can't think of any wma media players off hand(for linux) but if I see one, I'll let yah know.
