Mozilla question

Just downloaded the tarball of the latest version of Mozilla to upgrade my browser. I have an older version on there. How do I install it so that it replaces the older version.. or should I remove the older version first and then install the newer one?

I run Mandrake 9.1 - installed just a few days ago.

uninstall the old one first if you can, and preferably get an RPM for your distro . version rather than using a tarball from Mozilla.org.
