postfix configuration problem

Hello everybody..

Thought i put this out...has anyone successfully installed postfix. cyrus-sasl and imap on mandrak9.2 and have squirrelmail work successfully

I been at this for a month without any success...
if anyone has any specifice installation for mandrak with the above applications could u please send them to me...

I'm dying here!

read alot of documentations and ran a lot of configurations that i found on the web and its going nowhere.
I love to explain what the problem is but after a month of playing around with, i'm not sure where the probelm is anymore..

so..any help u can give me would be greatly appreciated..

I need to know what the problem is...is it with Squirrelmail, or Apache, or IMAP, or what? No mandy-specific instructions, but I have gotten it working on a few distros.

I don’t think it's an issue with squirrelmail. I think the problem is with the way I have cyrus-sasl authentication cyrus-imap configured..if I could just get these 2 working, I’m sure squirrelmail fall into place.

linux is’t my strong sute and its a lot to take in configuring email server…

If you followed the directions, and used the documentation at the postfix and cyrus-imap websites, what's the problem?
What errors are you getting, and how?
