I've been looking for Mandrake 7.2 complete boxed version on the net. I found a place where i can get it, but it needs a credit card...i dont have one. But i found Mandrake 7.1 delux with no credit card needed.

I cant download 7.2, its too big.

I want to know if there are any major differences from 7.1 to 7.2, and what are they?

thanks

The major differnces are Xfree 4.0 instead of 3.3.6 and KDE 2.0.
I noticed that hardware configuration is been automated a bit better too now. It automaticly configed my nic card with ip address and I was online on the first boot up :D

If you are really want it that badly, I will be glad to burn you a copy and mail it to you. It won't be the boxed set but it will be disks 1 & 2. If you don't have a credit card, most places like Best Buy or CompUSA will have the boxed sets for sale. Of course, version 8 is now in beta, soon to be released.

Ok, thanks for you help. I'm just going to buy a burnt copy of 7.2 from everythinglinux.com.au, no card needed.
