Hi -
I originally was having a problem with the flash plugin freezing up my system, but now it seems that it's the soundserver.
If I try to run XMMS, it'll seemingly freeze up kde. The mouse pointer moves, but clicks don't register. The keyboard still works, but nothing shows up onscreen.
Anyways, this was strange since just yesterday XMMS was working perfectly fine. The first crash occurred while I was blanking a CD (I have no idea why, the only thing I was running was G-Toaser).
Any suggestions regarding what I can do?
specs:
KDE 2.1
Drake 8
VIA mobo integrated sound
1 Ghz Athlon, 512 MB RAM, 40 G HD
TIA
