Hi all,
I am totally confused by the menu editor in SuSe 7.1...Heres what I am trying to do..First I installed KDE and Gnome..I log on to KDE which Is what I use most often..The present menu shows only KDE programs and NO Gnome Programs at all..What I would like to do is to add a list for Gnome Programs, with sub directories for gnome applications,Games, and so on...This is the way it is on my RedHat system..That way If I wish to play a Gnome Game i do not have to logon
to Gnome..I found that Gnome in the Suse system is in the following directory..
/opt/gnome/share/gnome/apps...Under the apps are the sub directories and applications..When I opened Menu Edit in KDE I added a new subdirectory and called it"Gnome Programs" and under comments i put in"programs Menu" After that I have no clue as to what to do..How do I find a command or path to get it working..BTW the help manuals only give general instructions of what to fill in and not how to get the information...No help for me there..
Thanks for any help or tips..
