I just installed Windows XP, and deleted windows ME. Windows XP must have changed the mbr becuase i no longer get the dual boot screen. How do i fix this without installing Linux again? Thanks.

Actually, there's no way I know of, unless you have a Linux boot disk. (I hope I'm wrong about that...)

I don't think it will be since The Sims is still for sale in stores, and quite the popular seller.

I guess it's possible that they'd release the distro without the game. I don't know what else is different about it that would warrant a new release.

Don't reinstall. Pop in your Linux boot or rescue disk, and then just rerun lilo. Problem solved.

Hi,

I think if you boot from the install cdrom and type rescue at the boot prompt that might help, I hope! :)

Yeah, just use your install cd, and boot from that . And at prompt , type rescue. That should work. :)
