Does EA ever produce a native linux port of one of their games? I sent them a bunch of emails regarding their linux support, telling them what they probably already knows. Linux is a growing market, that we already have a good support from Epic and Id bla blab bla....

Man I'd like to play NFS:underground! But there is no way an M$ OS will find home on my PC! If no one ask them for some support, they won't support us! send them emails so they understand that we're not all hackers, some of use linux everyday without knowing a single thing about programming. (like me)

software companies seem to ignore this sort of thing *thinks back to 100+ page long thread on tribes3.org asking for linux support, only to be told there's no demand. The thread was the 2nd most popular thread on the boards*

Yea most companies are pretty reluctant to port over to linux. I say just keep complaning on their forunms ;)

Also it dosent hurt to mention that your a linux user when your playing online. Case in point, im:

"TEH[Linux][User]" on UT2k4/2k3, Q3, and NWN. :)

That, and I suggest sending game companies like EA one email per week requesting them to port their games to linux. They cant ignore linux gamers forever if they get a constant flow of requests.

Or perhaps gaming companies can officially support winex but I dont see that happening anytime soon (unless a certain game company is actully in for innovation and not just corporate bull)
