Does anyone know of an open source IFS? Been trying to use Oracle's on Red Hat 7.1 and ran into install conflicts. Oracle will only support SuSe 7.1 or 7.2.

Or just use Suse. stiles 11-02-2001, 06:51 PM There is no opensource IFS, it's an oracle thing. Which version of Oracle are you tring to install? If it's 9i you need to downgrade your binutils package to this version (ftp://ftp.redhat.com/pub/redhat/linux/7.0/en/os/i386/RedHat/RPMS/binutils-2.10.0.18-1.i386.rpm). force the install like this: rpm -Uvh --force --nodeps binutils-2.10.0.18-1.i386.rpm justlinux.com
