I'm currently installing Debian after using Mandrake 8.1 (Man is it different!!). Anyway, can I get some advice or a heads up? Is there anything I should be aware of?

Gaccm 11-25-2001, 09:48 PM thats basicly it. Its not hard to install if you know about your comp. And don't worry about setting up the kernel correctly, just get internet support so you can download the newest kernel. If you want to upgrade to testing, here is the order i would suggest (assuming you are starting with 2.2.x kernel), first do a dist-upgrade, then compile a new kernel. justlinux.com
