Xine installation errors (Fedora)

HI All tried this on Fedora core 1 and still get an error
Here it is:

make[2]: *** [deinterlace.lo] Error 1

make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/bob/download/xine-lib-0.9.8/src'

I cant get this to run at all
any ideas?
I'm running as root

I spit your post into a new thread since your error(s) are different from the original posters.

That only tells use you got some errors and not what they are.

Look through ALL the output for the correct error(s).
