I just got the FreeBSD software package; I insert my boot CD, no problems.
I get to the point where it ask, what kind of installation do you wish?
(ie. Expert install, Standard install, etc...etc...)
I type S (standard), E (expert) , and nothing happens. Does anyone know what the hell that 's all about???

I can use num lock, caps...etc, but i can not do the 3 finger salute.

any suggestions.... really excited to install!
Thanks

Hmm. Wasn't that a ncurses based portion of the program? In other words, you don't type a letter, but move the cursor over the text and hit enter? It's been a while since I had to reinstall...but I am pretty sure this the case.

I tried to move the mouse, but i get no cursor.
The instructions tell me to hit the space bar, or arrow keys to move then enter.
(Or the single key for the corresponding install) :(

No input recognized? Try disabling legacy usb support in your bios.

I think bandwidthpig was referring to moving your arrow keys, and there should be something highlighted (your selection), not the moving your mouse cursor. I could be wrong though :)
