I was reading the February issue of MaximumPC (http://www.maximumpc.com/mag/in_this_issue.html)
and it had an article on installing linux, Mandrake was the distro, and in the online linux resources box it had "JustLinux offers help files, forums, and news for those 'who wanna learn Linux'. www.justlinux.com". The other listings were the Linux Documentation Project, Linux Newbie Administrator Guide (http://linux-newbie.sunsite.dk/) , and the KDE and Gnome sites. We're making progress, I remember MaximumPC stating "Linux is not as good as WinXP for day to day computing" (~1 1/2 years ago) in their letters section. Now one of their quotes is "Lastly, while Linux isn't right for everyone, it's worth a power-user's while to gain some experience with it".

Believe it or not, several years ago they had Maximum Linux. It came just 6 times a year, and it flopped because not enough people subscribed. It was a pretty good magazine--a little less technical than Linux Journal and Linux Magazine though.

I think I still have a couple issues of Maximum Linux. It was ok for not being very in depth and technical.
