For your first question, to make a new directory in /usr/local/games/ you need to be root. Type "su"
Hope someone helps you with your other questions. :)

<gets up on soapbox> Most common questions are covered in the FAQs and NHFs. You get better answers posting specific questions after getting an idea on how to do things and posting specific error messages, etc.<gets off of soapbox>
You might want to read the font NHFs (http://www.linuxnewbie.org/nhf/intel/fonts/) and/or check the Mandrake User (http://www.mandrakeuser.org/connect/cbrowse2.html)

1. Your permissions just need some changing. I'll let someone else answer this since the way I do it isn't really the "right" way.
2. I'm assuming you're using konqueror. Click on settings then configure konqueror, then konqueror browser, then appearance. Here you can change font size to large, change minimum font to 10 or 12, you can also play with the charset, I changed a few to helvetica.
3. Tux Racer is on the Mandrake CD. You can either use the "mandrake software manager" (link is on desktop) or look for the rpm on the cd. You will need opengl support to run this game, if you have any problems make sure you tell us what video card you have and what version of XFree86 you're using.
