sharp zaurus pda

Hi,
I purchase a sharp zaurus SL-5600 PDA. I am unable to
connect to it with Suse 9.0. It uses a USB port. Suse OS tell me it is a modem. The file transfer function will not work with Linux, but will work with Windows 2000. Any suggestion.

Write a sync module yourself or wait til someone else does. Apparently the v3.x roms have a different file format so none of the old syncs will work.
I should have one in a couple of weeks and I might have a shot at it.
Incidentally, where did you purchase, and does it have a PXA255 processor or PXA250?

Did you do a network/ftp install of SuSE or did you purchase the package as I did?

If purchased, you should be entitled to phone/email support.

I purchased my distro from SuSes' website. but its been over 90 day. after 90 days your not entitled to free support.
