3d hardware aceleration

i cant get 3d games like castle wolfenstein and ut2k3 to work and i need to know how to configure it. My op sys is RH9.
Please help.

i got the same prob and ive already sed this but it didnt post under here and i also have RH9 but its rrely annoying how slow the games r that require 3D acceleration

You may wonder why you haven't received any suggestion as yet as you should include a bit more detail than you have.

What you have tried so far ...

NVIDIA or ATI video card? It helps to be more descriptive in your questions ;)

A quick search of this forum will result in MANY answers to your problems,

I am going to assume for the sake of this message, that you are both running nVidia cards, and that neither one of you have installed the needed nVidia drivers. a search of this forum will yeld many instructions on how to do this.

You would be amazed how a simple seach will help.
