OK so I am having issues with one partition.

it is an 80 gig partition that is labled /dev/hda4 that I wanted to mount to /home/music/urban

when I run df, it shows that dev/hda4 has the same properties as dev/hdc1 which is a 200 gig partition.

the spacing is all messed up in the fstab when I look in it so I think the path is too long for the mount to work. When I manually mount it.. it seems to work fine.

Is there a way to get it to work in fstab or will I just have to set it up to mount in the rc.local?

also how can you edit lilo in the mbr so it doesn't have a 2 minutes wait.

thanks

You need to mount it in /mnt and you can make a symbolic link to it from a directory in your /home/user directory.
To change lilo, change the /etc/lilo.conf file and then run "/sbin/lilo" as "su". At the top of the file is a line to change the wait times. "timeout="
