Ludootje 11-25-2001, 04:32 PM startx kde startx bb not sure, never tried it, but it seems logic to me :) agar17 11-25-2001, 05:29 PM nope it just starts up and goes back to console. i use just startx to boot to kde. I'm sure i'm not the only one whose ever tried this. Its probably somethign simple too. Anyone know??? z0mbix 11-25-2001, 06:49 PM Use switchdesk. To boot to blackbox use "startx /path/to/blackbox". Find out with "whereis blackbox"... probably /usr/local/bin/blackbox. You edit your ~/.xinitrc file to show "exec blackbox" to start blackbox permanently [ 25 November 2001: Message edited by: cheeky_zombie ] justlinux.com
